About our Program

Student Crime Stoppers of Amarillo program began in the summer of 1991. Our program started as a need to give the youth of Amarillo an anonymous way to report crime in their schools and community.   Our program now operates as an independent 501(c)3 non-profit charitable organization. The concept has developed into a combination of efforts by  local school districts, media, businesses, law enforcement agencies, and the public. With donations of airtime, newspaper space, social media, and reward monies have established  as an effective tool to fight crime in our schools in Amarillo and surrounding areas.
